Cluniac House founded as priory dependent on Lewes, 1129-30. Became priory between 1351 and 1374. Priory farm stands on site and incorporates part of a C14 building in the central block. C17 windows inserted. C17 cross wing etc.

Small cell of Cluniac monks founded by Simon Fitzwalter tempe Henry I... residence the Priory..... ye church of ye Priory wherein was ye burial of ye Cliffords, but all destroyed (Leland). (4)
Historic farm recorded as part of the Herefordshire Historic Farmsteads Characterisation Project. Present on the Ordnance Survey First Edition, Pre-WW2 and Modern maps. (5)
