Field upon floodplain with a interlocking system of ditches (drainage channels) indicating a water meadow. Traces of ridge and furrow are also visible aligned roughly north - south. Lower Lugg ALSF AP Site 31. An extensive system of ridge and furrow reused and remodelled in places as water meadow with modern flood defence banks. Well preserved upstanding features. (3) (See SMR 30268 for ridge and furrow). (3)
